Senior Infrastructure Analyst

At New Look we make feel-good fashion accessible across 300+ stores, our website and app. This role keeps the platforms that power That New Look Feeling fast, secure and always on—so colleagues can serve customers and trading never stops. You’ll turn complex infrastructure into simple, reliable outcomes that protect sales, stock and the customer journey.

What you’ll deliver

  • Raise core platform availability (stores, e-com, payments, warehouse) to agreed SLAs within 6 months, cutting P1 incidents by 25% through root-cause fixes and better monitoring.
  • Lead cloud and network upgrades that support peak trading (Black Friday, launches) with zero unplanned downtime and measurable cost-per-transaction improvement.
  • Own capacity and performance reviews so infrastructure scales with multi-channel demand; publish monthly dashboards that trading and IT leaders actually use.
  • Close critical security and compliance gaps (patching, identity, backup/DR) on a 90-day cycle, with evidence ready for audit.
  • Partner with stores, e-com and third parties (IT, Accenture, Capita) to resolve BAU issues same-day and prevent repeats via runbooks and automation.
  • Build reusable standards and training so the wider team can execute changes safely without you in the loop.

Environment & resources

You’ll sit in Technology, reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, hybrid 2–3 days in London (Victoria). You’ll work with cloud, networking, identity, observability and CMS-adjacent tooling, plus store and warehouse estate. Budget and vendor relationships exist; you’ll influence spend and priorities. We play to win, we’re one team, and it starts with you.

Essential qualifications

  • Proven delivery of availability, performance or cost outcomes on retail, multi-site or e-commerce infrastructure (3+ years senior/analyst level).
  • Hands-on with cloud, networking, identity, monitoring and incident management; you write clear runbooks and can automate the boring bits.
  • Track record of turning messy incident data into actions that stick, and of briefing non-technical stakeholders without jargon.
  • Comfortable owning security hygiene, DR tests and vendor escalations under trading pressure.
  • Organised, commercially curious and customer-obsessed—you care that a till or checkout actually works.

Why this role

  • Direct line of sight from infrastructure to conversion, stock online and store experience.
  • 40% staff discount, birthday leave, virtual GP, pension, life cover from day one, Cycle2Work and more.
  • Inclusive culture, real development, and fashion as a force for positive change.
  • Flexible patterns discussed against the output the role needs.
